The error messages you are getting refer to an issue with Windows updating. This pops up now and again, one of those odd Windows issues. I tried both of the steps listed in the link you gave me and still get the same 0x80240017 message when i try to reinstall or repair the C++ files. Nothing to do with origin is working and EA tech support has limited my contact options to just email. How can I go about escalating this matter with EA? Any other suggestions Darko?
