"Invalid Xbox Live account"

Can someone please help me with the invalid xbox live account error. I just wanna play this game online and so far its just been days of frustration. I've made sure my emails are the same between both accounts, I clear the MAC cache on the xbox or whatever it is. I thought maybe it was because I had an expired email address for the primary on my xbox live account so I sat down with microsoft and sorted through all that. No luck. Set up fresh EA account with my xbox live primary account after that. I went through articles upon articles of stuff that has not been helpful. Customer support is, of course, only available while I'm at work so I have no one to walk me through this. Never had this problem my other EA games (I also have Star Wars Battlefront 1 and Battlefield 1 both on Xbox 1). I tried my wife's account, same problem even though she's a regular on Origin. Also I keep reading things saying that I can go into my account page and manually enter in my xbox info but there's nothing there that allows me to edit/add information.

Please help... I'm ready to just get a refund and all I wanna do is spin around in an X-wing T_T
