Let me also add bf2 is not good for the solo player. most players are in huge GA squads and the same goes for HvV. That’s fine if the game had any form of normal matchmaking but it doesn’t, it has the worst matchmaking I’ve seen in any game and worse yet I’ve read it’s that way on purpose.
Bf15 separated the top players most matches, not put them on the same team vs level 1 randoms. This is especially bad for new players vs the sweats be it GA or HvV. HvV has also become as toxic as any game with 3 and 4 max levels using exploits like Finn for basically unlimited health reduction going against noobs that have no clue, also happens in most GA matches with choke points.
The above is why we need a totally new and revamped battlefront 3 from scratch. Keep the good aspects of 15’s infantry play and maybe bf2’s hero play, but above all add balance and make it a little more skill based instead of mindless button spam. Then add back modes like cargo and dropzone along with private matches and map selection and server options like battlefield.
Goodness gracious. This game sounds like a train wreck. Thank you for your insightful input.

@MaximumDragon500Don't mind this guy, just try it out yourself. You'll then see whether you like it or not.
I don't get his points about high TTK or cheese-spam because that has been absolutely no problem with shielded jetpack-bactazerkers, one-shot pulse-rifles and EE-4 wielders in BF2015, right?
Yeah, a lot of skilled gunplay involved there. It's a casual game regardless and I prefer BF II overall because it has less of that "haha I have the better weapon and gadget than you" and allows positioning and aim to matter more. Even as hero this matters because unlike in BF2015 you don't have those massive armor boosts.
We might have reinforcements and heroes with more hp in BFII, but that doesn't necessarily mean much if the opponent soldiers are skilled as well, so even they can get downed pretty fast.
For real, overall the gadgets and weapons of soldiers in BFII are far less overkill than in BF2015.
Also the thing about squads... yeah it's not like that's the norm or that it doesn't exist in BF2015 either. Was a lot of fun when some -Shin- cheaters ruined match after match, right?
So that's not even related to the game itself, but the players. Anyways, many of those tryhard clans have abandoned BFII in the meantime while we received a flood of new players after epic games. I get it, pub-stomping is highly frustrating, but that's more a thing of the past and was just as a problem in BF2015 too.
I mean if in BF2015 only 4 or 5 clan-sweats are needed to empty an entire server while in BFII this requires a party of like 10 players, something is definitely not going right either way.
We still have emergent clans, but a lot of these are mainly filled with casuals and noobs, not dominated by arrogant and trashtalking uber-sweats.

So he was wrong about the small game modes being bad?
And again, what do you mean by "try it out"? Pay $60? I'm on PS4 btw, not PC.
Let me reiterate the main point of my original post. I just wanted a more refined Battlefront 2015, not Battlefield donning Star Wars paint.

@MaximumDragon500Ok then. As you seem to look for a game that's exactly like BF2015 with all mechanics and all and not really a different Battlefront game, then you probably want continued support for that game.
Anyways, both games are casual, so understand that no one can tell you when what game is too serious for your taste or what BFII-specific features you might like in that context, hence I said try it out.
I mean even in BF2015 you can make a science out of it which weapons and gadgets you chose to get first place etc., but that's up to the individual player.
Have you watched some Let's Plays on youtube yet? That might help too to determine whether you want or not.
