Issues with scan darts

Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug When I use scan darts in many different maps or modes it seems to highlight the enemy players for my team but not for me the one who shot the scan dart. This is a intermittent problem and not attributed to 1 specific map or game modality.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name?
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 04/02/2018
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM)
In what game mode did the bug occur? Galactic Assault
What is your time zone? CST - GMT - 6:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play galactic assault and use scan dart to light up enemy players. My scan dart is fully leveled. There seems to be a 50% chance of this happening.
What happens when the bug occurs? I do not see enemies light up up in radar map for me at all but it seems to work for the rest of my teammates.
What do you expect to see? Enemies red dots to appear after scan dart is shot.

This is not an emergent problem, just a mild annoyance.

    I would not say that this is a "mild annoyance". A core ability of the Assault Trooper is 100% bugged, making the base and the improved ability useless.

    The disgrace in the situation is that they seem to ignore any and every problem connected to the reveal funcitons. Hey, y'all remember this topic that has 100+ replies, and I've linked a hundred more times in a hundred different but related topics?

    One of these days you guys really should give a response.

    When considering all the reveal abilities in the game are bugged mild annoyance is a mild term to use. It's at least very annoying, it's been very annoying for a long time. EA fix these issues, not just scan dart all of the bugged reveal abilities. It's not game breaking but come on 😤

    We've received reports about many "revealing" abilities not working as they should, so we're generally looking into this.

    My issue is related to this one (which appeared to be the newest post regarding scan dart), and I'm glad to see that all scan abilities are being looked at.

    In my case, it seems that nobody else on my team can ever see the red dots on the radar or the highlighting that I usually see when I use scan dart. I remembered this being a problem awhile ago, but for some reason I never bothered to ask again if any of my teammates were seeing my highlights at all. It's still generally useful to me, but I now feel bad for getting assist points when my scanning actually didn't assist anyone after all. I feel worse that I keep calling out when I throw a scan dart, hoping to help my teammates even if I'm far away, and now I know that it never revealed anything to them! How embarrassing.

    More closely related to the original post, there are times that someone sneaks through my scan, and I used to think I was just somehow missing seeing them for some reason, but now I'm suspecting this was just me getting bitten by the abovementioned intermittent failure of this ability.
