I can't play anymore [PS4] as every time I connect to a match I get booted back to the main menu, with a message saying "Error Code 672 - Can't Connect to EA Servers". This started about 3 weeks ago - before then I had never had this issue and could connect perfectly.
Before the new BB8/Scarif update I could get into a match and play for about 10 minutes before getting booted. Now I get booted as soon as my first spawn.
I have a good stable fibre internet connection, and have tried both ethernet and wifi to my PS4 - it makes no difference to the issue.
I have tried all the steps in the connectivity guide, and more.
I'm playing from Wellington New Zealand and connecting to the Australian servers (34 ping).
Things I have already tried to no effect:
- Hard restarting my router.
- Factory resetting my router.
- Hard restarting my PS4.
- Reinstalling Battlefront 2
- Factory resetting my PS4.
- Changing my DNS settings to use Google DNS.
- Running UOTrace to check for packet loss (none).
- Opening the relevant ports
I know some other forum users are having similar issues. Could someone from the EA team please look into to this and see why this might be happening?
- 6 years ago@Adifax Yes, I most definitely am, and I'm pissed! It's been happening for far too long, and EA needs to start fixing this issue and start caring more about the customers and not just the money.

Im having the same thing I have literally did everything you can think to get mine to connect to a game longer the 5 mins but still nothing I just want to enjoy the game but of course there not going to fix it. I can’t stand EA. Your new update is broke and you need to atleast make a tiny update fixing it.
