Kylo Ren mission crashes Xbox system

Just got the game from EA Play as part of Game Pass.
The entire system crashed for me as I was coming up to the entry way of the bunker. I used the freeze ability and the Xbox One locked up with audio buzzing. After about 20 seconds the whole system shut down. Turned it back on, restarted the game and as soon as I got to the beach it locked up again. Didn’t do a complete shut down this time, but it wouldn’t let me exit with the Xbox button. Had to just power down the system again and instead of restarting from sleep mode, it came up from a complete shut down.

Is this something that will be fixed or is it too old of a game for EA to care about? I had to create this thread because they killed a two year old thread I had replied to with this info.

  • I didn’t play the game for a couple days.
I  gave it another shot and it worked without issue. I was able to complete the game without issue after that.

  • Hey @SERScottALot , The thread was two years old but also no response over two years, that is why it was closed.

Could you try to power cycle the console and see if that helps.

    How to power cycle:

    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
    3. Important Make sure that you wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
    4. Plug the console power cable back in.
    5. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    Thanks!
