Lag in menu and disconnection

Question

Played the game for hours since it was released without a single problem, now after the last patch I'm having various issues:

when i run BF2 it takes several tries to connect to EA servesr (keep getting error 770)
when I connect to EA servers my menu is somehow lagged: it takes up to 20/25 seconds to open a crate, update cards, find an online game and so on
when I play I've an average of 130 fps but I've some "micro-stuttering", specially in close quarters fights (using latest nvidia's drivers)
I can't play with friends because I figure as "offline" on Origin
when I run or I close BF2 I've to restart my PC because all application that requires an internet connnection do not work (Firefox, Chrome, email, other online games, etc..)

I read of players having issues on lag and stuttering..I'm the only one so lucky to have all there issues?
