Lets Talk about our Impression of the current state of SWBF2

I want to talk with other players about our purposed solutions for the lack of player population, missing server browser functions, lack of cross system play, and what we would like to express to EA as a unified fanbase about seriously fixing these glaring issues.

The matchmaking is broken. If cross system play was implemented I’d want it not to be against PC because cheats.
  • Agreed, a server browser should've always been a thing in the first place.

    About the declining player populace...

That's what basically happens to every game nowadays once the support ends and therefore no more content is to be awaited.

So the migration to new or still supported titles commences, no way to stop it once the damage has been done.

R.I.P. Battlefield 3, no matter what awesome game you are.

I'd really love if Battlefront II would be like GTA V, a continous monster project with new stuff all the time, like we don't need any further Battlefront if we basically just take this game and keep updating and supporting it, gladly with a good monetization concept so that it's a fair deal for everyone.

I could see EA having Success copying the borderlands model, with content updates that are like expansion packs.

  • Let's see....

    Battlefront 2015 dead.

    Battlefield 3 dead

    BF 4 dead

BF 1 is still alive but not much longer

BF V, no idea but probably not far to go to the pearly gates.

Now this one, they completely abandoned GA, so that's stale, supremacy was never that popular, SFA players moved on to Squadrons I expect, they left that for dead as well(myself included) and the other modes barring co-op have been brown bread forever.

Mistakes were made no matter how much good they did in the end.

That and it's 3 years old now and there's new generation of consoles out.

6 months to a year at most before it's a ghost town imo.

Squadrons is already getting on to custom/private servers, niche game but they get it and that game is a budget release which is already on sale.

@orangeneeYeah, it's sad how games have become throwaway products because like 2 years after release there's a new one at the docks, ready to cast off.

Saddest part was when BF 4 came pout, because at this point it became obvious what'd happen to BF 3.

Not even talking about BF 1 and BF V.

So one needs to play more singleplayer games I guess because the fun there is independant from the player population.

  • And I was on a roll...

The worst part is when the game never bothers to put you back in the lobby you just disconnected from

The other one is when you actually do get a game
Then the round finishes and it throws you back to the menu screen
Then you can't seem to find a game to get back into
