Low FPS with 1070 Ti

Hello! Since the last update, the game is unplayable for me. It stutters all the time, and my corsair can't move around smoothly, like it's stuttering whenever I try to turn around. Used to play it with an R9 290 and It ran buttersmooth until the update. After the last update the FPS fell drastically lower and the game became unplayable. I though okay it may be something with AMD drivers. Now I changed my video card with 1070 Ti, the same thing happens and most weirdly my fps is 35?!? It cannot be from my pc, I am running an i7 9700K, 1070 Ti Zotac, and 16GBs of G skill Trident Z 3200 Mhz. Halp! I want to play!

  • If your CPU bottlenecks at 100% suddenly, try this:

1.) Check in your bios the temperature and GHz/MHz of your CPU
1.1) Check CPU GHz/MHz also in CPUZ (each core should go full 3.2-3.6 or 4.2GHz, depending on what you have)

Found an error? Locked at 800MHz? Any sensor reporting wrong temp?

2.) Try download: throttle stop (shows temp and each core speed)
    ------------------------------------------

    OWN RISK FROM HERE
    ------------------------------------------

    Disable (uncheck): BD PROCHOT

run Battlefront 2, but keep an eye on the temperature of your system, espc. your CPU temp.

Note: PROCessor HOT is the flag set, wenn sensor reports CPU to be at about 100 degree C.

Tip: Mine go as high as 55 on ULTRA, I use MSI Afterburner with Riva. Riva will allow you to lock the fps to what you need (60 or 144). Helps to avoid uneccesairy higher fps (more load on cpu and gpu) and keeps the system quiet and cool.
