Well as most of you know the matchmaking is very 1 sided about 75% of the time. I am just submitting this to try and make them aware of the situation. People are getting so frustrated with this game's matchmaking that people are leaving. You have managed to redeem yourself with a lot of the community but you need to sort this matchmaking out and quickly because with this rising new strategy of teaming up with other people in a group needs to go out the window. Literally the matchmaking is probably the only thing that could ruin this game and along with it tones of Youtubers will have nothing to do. All you have to do is look at this very topic on the Battlefront forums https://battlefront-forums.ea.com/discussion/102752/i-am-going-to-be-brutally-honest-here#latest

  • Cannot stress enough how much matchmaking needs fixing. It's a very frustrating game to play atm. This morning I managed to get a checkpoint 5 times with Palpatine and was unable to defend it because my team were just non existent, I finished the game 8000 points ahead of anyone else on either team and still lost the game I mean that is how weird the balancing is, it is very frustrating indeed.
  • See Dice this is the first of probably hundreds if not thousands of people which are frustrated by this matchmaking.

  • I really am getting sick of this all morning I have played about 5 matches of Galactic Assault and 3 matches of Heroes VS Villains lost EVERY single one of those matches! It is actually the most broken, unfair and frustrating matchmaking to ever exist on this planet. I said on the battlefront forums and I quote

'Even though I can be rude at people during horrible games. This game takes my frustration and puts it in a jar and it is trying to SO hard to get out and go of on an angry rant. Even Battlefront 2015 I had about a 48% win rate on here I would estimate about 27% win rate. Let everyone have the same experience roughly same wins and loses! Putting people randomly into games and hope for the best is THE most silly matchmaking system to date in gaming history I think. Dice Battlefront 2 2017 might as well go in the Guinness Book Of World Records for the worst matchmaking in gaming history. SEE there's my frustration in a jar seeping out!

  • I will happily nag, nag, nag this community and developers to death until I get what I want and what about half the community wants.

  • In hvsv Playing a round my 3 members were equivalent to the entire opposing team with each having 6-9 kills where I had 28 and opposing side got 3 target kills. The following round, 3 of their members were replaced and it became completely one sided where I had 5 (as Luke) and nobody on my side plus the 1 that remained had 0 kills and everyone new had 10-16 kills! We only got one target kill. And of course, I lost my entire team towards the end. Then jumped into GA action, top 10 on my side had at least 30 kills each; on the opposing side their top 20 had only ~8. This lasted for at least 2 hours playing. WTF.

  • Dice I know I look like I am blaming everything wrong with this game to you. I do also blame Disney there probably screaming down your ear every day saying speed up with the Solo DLC. However this is your game do what you feel is best.

  • The most frustrating part of the bad matchmaking in BF2 is that, for the most part, they had it right in BF1.  After 2 matches on a particular map, before moving on the next map, the matchmaking did a "mix-and-match", shuffling some of the top players and bottom players, so that there was much better balance.  It wasn't perfect, but at least you wouldn't end up playing the same team of power players over and over and over again.  I guess sometimes this happens because people are playing in a squad, but squads should be matched up against other squads.  And even with squads, the matchmaking could mix up the other players, but they don't.  In BF2, if you get stuck with a team of noobs that have no idea what they are doing, against a team of super-good players, you are toast, and the only way to get another team is to leave (also no fun, due to LOOOOOONNNGGG load and unload times).  I guess they tried a different matchmaking where you'd get put into completely different lobbies now and again, but that was also super-frustrating and people hated that even more, because it just messed up the map rotation for you, and it didn't guarantee you'd end up in a more balanced game (sometimes it was even worse).  So this is definitely an aspect of the game that EA really, really, needs to work on, and I wish they'd just go back to what they did in BF1, it was way better than what's going on here.

  • I don't know, but I have the feeling that sometimes they switch it on, and sometimes they switch it off. Most of the time, however, I end up looking at the player list and observing that the same players that were on my team, are still on my team. This holds for every single match I play in GA and others. Even just random team scrambling would do a better job then placing the EXACT same teams against each other.
