Microphone issues Origin/Battlefront

I am having trouble getting my microphone to work in Star Wars Battlefront. My mic is working fine in Windows when I test it, but not in the game. I think the problem might be that Origin is not even in the list of desktop apps under microphone privacy settings, so I can't grant the mic to have access to it. How do I go about making sure Origin is that list?

    @EA_Atic Thanks for the reply, but I'm not sure that helps me figure out the issue. First, I am speaking of Battlefront 1, not 2. Is there a difference in mic settings for the two? And if it uses the default setting in windows, why is the mic working in windows but not in-game?

    @creolechowder its using the same for both games. My bad as I assumed it was about SWBF2 as you posted on the SWBF2 board.
     
    If you go to Windows sounds settings is the correct mic set up as default mic?
