@SGinesX1572 BF1 did only offer offline split screen. I just noticed the post I replied "very true" to was talking about online split screen instead of offline split screen, sorry about the confusion.
I would like to play all the modes in split screen.
I can think of some ways this could happen.
Hopefully, one of them will.

The game updated so hopefully this will be added for the new consoles.
- Also, the games we already have offline that could be split screen are already split screen. I remember a thing a dev (I think F8RGE) said - something about “hardware melting already with the AI and graphics, factor it in that times 2...not possible”
I know there was no new content (and content is done); however, the fact that there was bug fixes means there are at least a few devs working on the game. F8rge mentioning the hardware melting was in reference to the dev kits they were using to test Instant Action in split screen. These dev kits would have had the same specs as the original Xbox one and PS4. The Series X and PS5 are much more powerful. Since it was being tested, it is possible the entire code is in the console versions with a deactivate command in front of it. What are the chances of a dev simply removing the deactivate command for Series X and PS5?
Have the devs said anything about what kinds of patches (other than no content) the game will receive? My post prior to this one is THE question about this game I am hoping to get answered. If you need any clarification, feel free to ask. No, I am not going to keep bumping this topic. Thank you
