Nerf freeze & mind trick

- 7 years agoHonestly I don't follow the logic of the point you are trying to make. These effects are what make the game tactical. That is provided they are all working correctly not causing glitches and bugs.
If there are any effects that need nerfing it's the officers flash grenades, as half a team equipped with those in GA will just destroy any competitive aspect of that game, everyone gets wiped out with literally zip zero combat on the victims team except the ones lucky enough where its possible to get a vehicle and if that team are purpled out with flash grenades you might as well just go make a cup of tea while you wait for the loading screen because even when you get a hero/villian it still won't help your cause much.
To achieve what it seems you are after you would need to remove so many abilities from the game all of which are what create the tactical aspect. I mean there isn't much combat involved in walking through Bossks proximity mines either but that's the point its a tactical weapon like mind trick and freeze they need to be properly timed/used to be effective and there's a lot less you can do about Bossks proximity mines unless you see him place them. I wouldn't say that by the logic you have presented freeze and mind trick would need a nerf. I could perhaps see an argument however for the effect of mind trick to be changed slightly allowing you to turn slightly more, especially as a villian but even still in most cases its pretty easy to get out of difficulties with jump and dodge you just have to react to the fact your controls are inverted.
