Hi everyone, yesterday I wanted to play battlefront 2 with my friend, but I couldn't because the tab where you need to invite the friend said "no friends online". I know what this is due to. I also noticed that when I'm in the game, the EA app itself doesn't show that I'm in the game, it just shows that I'm online. If anyone knows, please help me out. Thanks
While it's implied, you don't explicitly say that you confirmed that your friends were on line.
Also, have you been able to play with friends in the past - i.e. this is a new issue for you?

Having the EXACT same issue. Have tried various different methods from client side to game side and no matter what we do, we cant invite or join on each other to play. Yes, weve un friended and refriended, checked privacy settings, even redownloaded the entire client/game and reset caches, etc. We have spent the better end of about 18 hours trying to play even ONE match together(which is VERY weird because we can play online separately no problem). This is seriously ridiculous considering we REALLY want to try this game. It doesn't even make any sense because several other games that we play don't share this issue, only through this client. The last method we tried was joining through a mutual and then re adding each other and the client/game doesn't even show that we're in-game (after re-adding each other) WHILE IN THE SAME MATCH. This is my final longshot at trying to solve this issue before requesting a refund, no game should be this difficult to enjoy playing with others.
nope, unfortunately it kind of "forces" you to be invisible upon loading up the game. Even after changing it though it still wont show as "in-game"
