No friends online bug

I've always had this problem in Battlefront II where I can't see any of my friends being online meanwhile I can see them on the ea app but it shows no friends online in game and the thing is even your friends can see you online in game but when they send me an invite I don't get it so we can't queue together, I've tried everything I could to fix it but it just doesn't work so if anyone could hook me up with a working fix for this I'll really appreciate it.
