No Mouse In Battlefront 2

Good day All,

I own a new Computer / gaming pc - with no software except win 10, norton securities and origin / battlefront 2.

Keyboard and mouse are generally working fine - except in the game (bf2). I am not able to use the input devices: The mouse pointer is not shown, moving around changes nothing and any input on the keyboard leads to nothing. I can leave the game via the windows button.

Norton Securities seems not to be the culprit, as disabling did not change anything.

Any ideas to manage this issue?

    You don't happen to have a joystick or a controller connected to the Pc?

    @EA_Atic: thank you very much for coming back on my post.

    Yes, indeed I had a controller (stratus xl / delivered with the pc) connected. The controllers are disconnected by now. Do you propose anything to isolate the Problem further?

    Hey @BS-FearsomeSpoon
    You could try going into control panel and device manager and disabling the driver for the controller. The computer may be looking to use it for the SA part of the game. You will always be able to restore it, but it might help. Remember to shut down, wait 20 seconds and restart after disabling before launching the game. GLHF

    Unfortunately disabling the bluetooth based controllers changed nothing. No mouse ...

    As I own very new material it is frustrating..

    But - thanks a lot!

    Hey @BS-FearsomeSpoon Not something to do with the controller itself  that you have but something we have seen reports on different controllers.

    I have the same issue and no controllers are installed. It worked fine until today when I restarted my system.
