It's become much more common since the last patch. I'd say that my thermobinoculars now only work about 50%, if that, when I've used them in matches recently. The real frustrating part is when I use them, they work, then I put them down and run a little bit, bring them back up, and then they stop working. It's not map specific either.
In my last match at Starkiller base, I actually believe that the binoculars were reversed, only one person on the screen was highlighted, a sniper. I assume he was running stealth and was highlighted for me while everyone else didn't show up. I'm sure people with more leet skillz this is no problem, but for me it makes specialist pretty much unplayable.

How have they not fixed this bug yet? It affects specialist class, Bossk's Predatory Instincts and Lando's thermal scope it's literally a joke how many detrimental bugs there are in this game..
