I'm sorry @DYSPROssium, but I remember very well Palpatine being able to do that since release. I've done this with him several times, it is a great way to not let chewie feel free to kill you when he stuns you and then activates Furious Bowcaster.

I've never seen Palp shoot through while being stunned before the Solo Season myself, therefore I thought it may be a bug.
However, if this is indeed already from launch or implemented as a feature, then I might as well make proper use of it! It's a great counter indeed for these stun abilities.
Do you know if you can also use the abilities of Palp while being stunned? Something I will try out later.
I don't think you can use any abilities, but there are some abilities which can be triggered in more situations then others, like Vader's Focused Rage or Chewie's Furious Bowcaster. Check if the icon isn't greyed when you're stun, if it isn't, then you probably can use it. I never used/tried, so I believe palpa can't do that, but I may be wrong too.
