I've had this issue since this morning when I've started playing on patch 1.2.
Whenever I'm playing online the alert that says I have bad connectivity to the server is always on.
This wouldn't be a problem except that my connection is actually really good and I haven't had any issues with internet lag.
Is there any way to turn this alert off so I don't have to have it on my screen constantly?
Thank you.

If you are intelligent and capable, there are instructions for PC users with applications such as winshark. It is difficult if you have no knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols but not impossible.
- Anonymous8 years agoIt still freezes regardless.

Same here. I don't have blazing fast Fiber, but I am getting avg of 60Mb/25Mb with latency under 100ms, and am the only person using my connection, patched directly in with an Ethernet cable. Prior to 1.2 it ran fairly smooth outside of certain maps being a little laggy.
Now...it's just practically unplayable, even on Campaign. Nothing has changed on my end except being required to update my AMD driver. All my other EA games launch and play fine. BF1 runs smooth online with no lag or stutter.

Same here.
As a TCP/IP specialist, I can concur that EA developers added network protocols into their coding with Patch 1.2 My packet capture lit up like a christmas tree with Galactic Assault and Straighter Assault. Of course not Arcade mode, no need to have the signal strength persistently checked every nanosecond there.- Anonymous8 years agoOMG. Thank you. This is the first post of someone with legit evidence that they are attempting to fix server side errors. I've reset my router and replace components (PS4 Pro not PC) for my network. I really don't think its me, I have a 32ms connection near oregon server.

I have the same exact thing, and I have Fiber and ever since the new patch its been stupid slow.

@Spaghett27 I have over a 100mbps connection and it occurs at different time frequencies, but most prevalent when attacking an enemy vessel, hero ship, objective, or flying in any direction. In other words it is nearly consistent, almost such as a consistent ping back and forth from the game server location to my present location and then back and forth to other players locations all at the same moment of time.
Check these out if you have time I made an entire capture short video of both galactic assault https://youtu.be/ngvKn250_ng and starfighter assault https://youtu.be/TJnHE04hLyU

I would suggest that you take a look at these tier 1 answers first: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/
How to get a UOTrace
- Download the UO Trace program if you do not already have it.
- Run the program.
- If a pop-up box appears telling you "UO Server List not found," click No.
- Click the Options menu at the top of the window, then click Advanced.
- Type easo.ea.com in the window where you see the server list. This works for most EA titles.
- If you're having trouble connecting to Star Wars™: The Old Republic™, choose your server location from this list and test your connection to it instead of easo.ea.com:
- East Coast: 159.153.92.28
- West Coast: 159.153.68.252
- Europe: 159.153.72.252
- If you're having trouble connecting to Star Wars™: The Old Republic™, choose your server location from this list and test your connection to it instead of easo.ea.com:
- Click the Trace Route button.
- Click the Poll button when it’s done.
- Under the Pkts r/s column, wait for the number of packets to get up to 100 then click Stop poll.
- The Stop poll button is the same as the Poll button.
When you’re done, the UOTrace will be filled out with information about packet loss and ping times.
If you need to send your UOTrace results to an advisor:
- Click Edit, then Copy.
- Open Notepad by going to All Programs > Accessories in the Start menu.
- You can also search for Notepad in the Start menu to find it.
- Paste the results into Notepad and save the file where you’ll remember you put it.
Run the trace twice and save them both for us. That way we can compare the results and help you the most.

How will this help if this only started happening after patch 1.2?
I've got 20/20Mb fibre account with 2ms ping to EA South African datacentre.
Gameplay is for the most part is OK, I know I probably still connect to UK servers sometimes when there are not enough SA players, but any lag is hardly noticeable.
Devs must just add a simple setting to toggle the notification of "bad connectivity" in game options. It is THAT SIMPLE, then you get less people complaining about it.
Like I said it only started happening after patch 1.2
- 8 years agoI just quit the game and play another one that is superior to than this junk.
Remember that anything that is a license game is going to be hacked junk; there has never been a good Bruce Lee game.
So, forget the Star Wars Battlefront2; it's not worth the trouble. Unless you're making yourtube videos of your freezing fails.
Maybe you can make you're money back through that.- Anonymous8 years ago
I have not been having a pleasurable gaming experience the last few days as well. My internet connection is good for the record.
If for some reason I can get into a game, which can take up to a half hour in any game mode, its rubberbanding, freezing everything except my perspective control (right stick PS4), or just crashing me back to the main menus all together. It is awful. On top of this, my credits, crystals, and crafting parts all display as 0, or just nothing in the top right at all. This issue seems to change at random, and occasionally it will display everything as it should be. Other online content does not work or display too, such as: crates, skill points, receiving credits at the end of matches, and milestone completions all displaying 0/xx.
These are all game ruining problems so I am stepping away a little at this point because of these controller-breaking inducing problems.
The main 2 error codes that pop up are: 770 and 2446
