Playing in the US but routing through the UK?

I'm not a total tech wiz when it comes to IP/Network issues... but doesn't this indicate that prior to reaching a California server to play on I'm getting routed through London England?

And if that's so, is there a way to fix this? My ping server in game is set to Virginia USA...

    Hey, @Rev_Jim_Jonez This looks to be an ISP routing issue, we have no control how your network connect to us. So for your example you has been routed across the world would be on your ISP 

    I recommend that you talk to your ISP and show them what you did find and ask what is going on, it's only them that can sort this issue out.

    Really? No one here has a clue why a game in California needs to send me to damn Europe to play?

    I have the same issue. Before the update, I always played on Singapore servers with around 60 ping. Now I keep connecting to ping sites as far as US and UK, Germany etc. Ping goes up to 300. When I switch to Singapore, it shows low ping but then switches back to some 200/300 ping site. I don't understand why.

    Apparently no one else has an easy explanation as to why for us either. But I've been checking mine just to see if it routes me somewhere else that makes sense... so far I'm just Eurotripping for no known reason.
