Pointing out more Battlefront 2 issues and future ideas.
I have noticed several other issues over the past 4 years of gameplay...They are more mechanics-wise issues and here they are:
-Walking over transparent soldiers that are physically there but you can walk right through them. This has been one of my biggest complaints since the game released because it affects your line of sight when shooting because people will walk right through your body in order to shoot. I guess this awful mechanic was implemented to cope with the bottle neck map idea. Don't consider this awful idea for future games.
-Bad starfighter and AT-ST controls...I throughly supported the soft lock idea as it was more movie accurate than just shooting a circle in front of the target. The soft lock telemetry sounds can be properly implemented if classes are balanced good enough. The AT-ST controls feel awfully clunky and heavy. The vehicle gets stuck in every obstacle, can't topple down trees or underbrush, and it's very weak to small arms fire. Very limited used in both eras (Empire or First Order).
-Remove AI fighters from the sky...They are terribly unbalanced and aimbot the player 100% of the time.
-No reinforcements arrival that requires the player to die before they can play as such units. Apply the Battlefront 2015 idea which allows the players to call for them (via pick up) or after reaching or completing certain tasks like teamwork when taking an objective. This can also apply for heroes, but no more than 1 vs 1 in any map.
-Allow for a limited amount of powerup pickups during any fight either as an icon, weapons crate, etc.
