Progression on eliminations and killstreaks

Now as the game grows older, the collection and career does not keep up with my progression. To get a certain gun I need 200 kills with a certain trooper, but I'm sure I have eliminated well over 200 enemies over the time I 've played.

Just now a player was "best of game" with 18 eliminations, but longest killstreak on the same game was 21. How's that possible?

They just don't seem to keep up with me!

    Today I had an usual sight. Players left the match and left us (I suppose there were others too) hangin waiting for more players.
    There's no way out except quitting the match. Then it says error 327 and I need to exit the game and start all over again.
    It takes a long time to get back in the game.

    You are looking at Eliminations not kills. These challenges are based on the amount of Kills you get each match, meaning assists do not count as progression. You can see your kills at the bottom of that match scoreboard.
