Quick Console vs. PC question
I've seen a lot of talk on the forums of PC vs. Console. Ignoring the personal preferences of one vs. the other, are the matches being played with a mix of console and PC players? Or is it console vs. console and PC vs. PC only? Doesn't make a huge difference to me, I was just curious. It seems most believe it is console vs. console and PC vs. PC but I have nothing firm to back that up. Usually complaints along the line of:
P1: "...this guy is hacking."
P2 "Oh yeah? You should play on PC, it's so much worse!"
I was under the impression the player pool consisted of both PC and console players, with the advantages/disadvantages of each setup cancelling each other out. Anybody have any solid info either way on the player pool?
There are very few games that support cross-platform play, and even those don't support it between the rivalling consoles (as far as I know). BF2 is not such title, you could buy it for a console and PC and you'd have different profiles etc.
Also, I'm a fairly good shot with a controller, but PC players would absolutely destroy me with the precision of a mouse.
