Yeah I tried rebooting my PS4 and it worked for like 5 matches then It went back to almost fully loading then just being stuck on the loading screen

Hey @DarthKasongo  could you try to clear the local and online saves and see if that help out and do another power cycle on the PS4.

After a bit, it started working but now certain maps (like Naboo) it almost fully loads then it just stops. When I play on the disc version on BF2, it just breaks my PS4 and it freezes and I have to wait before the PlayStation turns off by itself. On the digital version, I have to close the application and re-open it. Also, these maps (Naboo, Starkiller Base, ground Geonosis) do not work in ANY GAME MODE WHATSOEVER (offline included). It's pretty annoying and it started after the Age of Rebellion update and I could tell that I messed up. Instead of updating, I deleted the app and reinstalled it. As soon as it did, I could tell something was wrong. I hope I didn't damage the game.

Also, how do I “Clear local saves”? And, wouldn't I lose all my content in the game?

You will only remove campaign save progression, arcade and settings @DarthKasongo.

Remove online saves:

1. Go to [Settings] > [Application Saved Data Management].
2. Choose either System Storage, Online Storage or USB Storage > [Delete]
3. Select a game and place ticks next to the files you wish to delete or [Select All].
4. Select [Delete] and then select [OK] to confirm your decision.

With the new update now I can't play the game online whatsoever

Same here, unable to launch the game, i got stuck on the first loading screen. Tried to delete and reinstall the game with no success...

@EA_Atic  I'm having similar issues on my base model PS4. My game gets stuck on the loading screens and it won't let me join a match. The only thing i can play is heroes vs villians Kamino and Ewok Hunt. That's it. I can't do anything else on this game and that includes the offline modes too. I've tried all the recommended fixes. Power cycle, redownload game, rebuild database, delete saves, hard reset, and removed all the wires for 2 mins. Nothing works. The last update broke my game. I can't play it anymore. Please fix it.

I am also having this problem. Sometimes it’s the load screen when launching the game other if by some miracle I can get it to load the game gets stuck loading a match. I recently reinstalled this game and I didn’t have this problem last year the game worked perfectly. Now apparently after this last update it broke my game. I have 6mps which was more than enough to play last year I can’t imagine that is my problem. I have an internal hard drive and I have recently started my ps4 in safe mode to rebuild database and that didn’t work. I deleted the game again and reinstalled it again and that didn’t work. I deleted the local save files and downloaded the backups from the cloud and still having the issue. My disc drive is working fine for other games. So clearly there is something wrong with the most recent update that causes this problem. 

I’m having a problem loading the game up on my hdd on PS4 do u know how to fix this

I'm having the same problem. I cleared my local saves and power cycled, and nothing changed. Mine doesnt work for any maps. Ive deleted the game and redownloaded it many times, to no avail. Any other solutions?

@EA_Atic this same problem happened to me. I followed all your recommendations including deleting save and ps4 reset ect but it just keeps freezing in the loading screen for a map. My ps4 eventually freezes and shuts itself off.

It should be clear by now that there is something wrong with the game, not 10 people's ps4s. Fix your end.

@SchtickAndBalls agreed! I'm also having this same issue. Can't load a single game mode. Powering off and unplugging, deleting save files, re-downloading and re-installing have not fixed the issue. @EA_Atic any suggestions?

I am stuck at the loading screen and now I deleted the game and downloaded it twice but i am still stuck in the loading screen and it can't load

I just installed Battlefront 2 on my PS4 after a full factory reset.  There are no saved files or othergames on the console.  When i start up the game i am just stuck at the initial loading screen with the bar at the bottom filled up and the loading circle continuing its animation in the bottom right.

I have tried redownloading the game 11 times, renewing licenses, rebuilding database, changing internet networks, changing to LAN, changing my DNS codes between 3 different DNSs, port forwarding both UDP and TCP on my 5g internet, power cycling, deleting application saved data storage, and DELETING PSN. None of it works. All I ask is that either you tell me youre working on it, or i get my money back. This is not what i paid for.
