You know an ability is totally broken if the "strategy" for its challenge is attacking AFK players... :D Anyway, it's total BS, I'm using these also, and it's a painful grind, I'm not even at 15 yet.
Edit: I also noticed that it tends not to count it if you kill someone with the third strike, only if the target stays alive...
@felker_s hi, well, hitting AFK players is one of the ways. The other one is more challenging, and that is placing a droid sentry in front of jedi hero, or luring them towards the already placed sentry droid. In one game, i did 4 3rd staff hits on active players.
I havent noticed the third hit killing not counting towards the progress of the milestone, but you might be right. The game is full of these little bugs.
I know, and as I said, I've been using the same tactics aswell.
As for the hit not registering: I'm not even sure now, today I've had two hits that did not kill the player, and the counter didn't go up, so that wasn't the problem.
Anyway, I think the bigger problem (aside from it being way too slow) with the ability is how lightsaber strikes cancel & counter it, it should be a 0%-0% damage clash. Right now a simple swing of the saber totally negates this ability, damages Phasma, and even staggers her, leaving her open for followup strikes.
