Re: Ditch the Headsets We know what we have to do
@QuickSilver317 I wear a headset, but never use a mic - I just know what I have to do and just get on with it. Wearing a headset does have its advantages though, communicating with friends, family and other party members can be fun and helpful; But the reason I wear them is to hear everything that's going on in the game - it's a whole different experience with a headset on, especially if you have surround sound, wow!! What absolute joy!! StarWars really is built for surround sound, especially with that epic music masterpiece of a soundtrack filling your ears with such delights.
Matchmaking is a problem and it isn't. What I mean is, I have experienced being in lobby's where we are getting steamrolled. You have experienced players on one side and a bunch of noobs with one or two experienced players on the other side. Matches can be over quickly and doesn't make for a competitive game. On the other hand, our current system allows us to play against every player, regardless of what rank they are. Now I like playing with a mix of players from rank 0 - 1000, rather than being put in a lobby of just noob or experienced players. It just needs a little bit of tweaking here and there to make it more balanced, but not too much though.
I have asked Dice/EA to change this in the past to make it a more balanced system, but obviously fell on silent ears.
Try not to dish the officer, he is one of the best in my opinion. There are a lot more benefits to the officer than you realize? - This, I will leave for you to find out for yourself?
May the battlefront be with you, always...
