just checking in with a total.
169,000 in duplicate awards.
You might immediately say "but that doesn't divide by 300" but I know I had some duplicate guns that said 200 for dups, so it's probably right.
Seems my old estimate was a bit low.
So now the trouble is how do you convert that to other compensation?
Those would have been 169 skill points worth of parts if I'd opened them yesterday. (and just to state it again, the devs view a crate for a skill point and a crate for 1k credits as equivalent.)
But how do you compare 6760 parts spread over the past months of the bug? If this had been fixed two months ago, would I have gotten around to spending 480 making my officer's Resourceful card Epic? I'm out the level from that, and have to grind 6 more levels to get permission to upgrade it even they decide to give me 12 skill points compensation.
How do you compensate for levels gating cards we should have been able to buy? I'm not irrational enough to expect 169 level boosts from my credits. But it's not merely 1 level per 12k credits, either, because I might have made rare or uncommon upgrades if I had those 6760 parts.
Maybe good compensation is a "go up a level" token for every 4400 delayed credits? so figure over those months we missed a new card - directly or by accumulating parts - in every 2 hero crates we could have opened. @EA_David, what do you think?
