Re: Heroes not getting experience

Experience I gain from playing specific heroes is being given to others. For instance, I have played chewy maybe 10 times and gained no experience at all. Whereas I have played kylo wren maybe 2 times for short Bursts and am level 10. I have also never played any star fighter matches and for some reason am level 4 with the millennium falcon.

bruh you dont get experience for specific characters in this game the level of your character depands of your starcards level.

you need to collect more cards for that specific character to increase the character level.

That explains a lot, guess I’ve just been hearing the wrong things from support. They told me to post my problem here. Appreciate the constructive feedback. So I literally need to by those hero boxes to get cards to level up heroes. Playing them has nothing to do with it. Sounds... interesting.

Thank you very much for clarifying on how to lvl up heroes/villains! I've been playing til my thumbs hurt with my H/V to grow them. Why is it that for heroes/villains, you need star cards to advance them, but playing as troopers gain ex?

  • All the classes/characters level this way.... Heroes, villains, assault, heavy, officer, specialist, enforcer... Everything... All the ship classes. If you can assign cards in a slot for the avatar you're playing, it levels up due to upgrading star cards. If you have no cards unlocked at all, it's level zero. A single gray card gives you 1 level, green gives you 2, blue 3, purple 4. So if you had zero cards for say, Chewbacca and you got a blue (rare) card for him he would instantly be level 3. If you got a blue, green, and gray card for him then he'd be level 6.

Play multi-player matches to earn XP and credits, spend the credits on crates to get star cards.  Only way to level up "classes" or heros/vehicles is through star cards.  The XP points rank up your "overall character" which then allows you to use crafting parts (also acquired through crates) to level up the star cards.  You can gain credits for arcade (max 1,500 in a day) but you can't gain XP in arcade.  While somewhat debatable, probably the easiest way to level up your overall character quickly is through HvV.  Usually lots of XP, compared to the other modes, while you are learning.  Try all the modes to find out what your best fit is though.
