The ARC Trooper

Summary: The ARC trooper is probably the most versatile unit in the game. They can snipe, go close combat, sneak, battle at a medium range, charge, and defend. Their abilities are very good and fit them well. 

Abilities:

Pistols: The DC-17 pistols the ARC trooper wields are very good, with excellent cooling, okay range, and decent range. They have three firing capacities. On of which is activated by holding zoom, and the others which use an ability slot to alternate between. 

Mid-range: This is the default for the trooper. The ARC fires at a medium rate of fire, and is more precise than the other setting. 
Close Combat: This settling is the most deadly, but also the least precise. The crosshairs is altered to that it just shows the general are the guns shoot at. The rate of fire is spectacular, but the range is lacking. This is best used for dishing out a lot of damage quickly and best for close range. 
Power Blast: this is an alternate fire that deals a lot of damage and is useful, but has a cooldown of about five seconds and builds up a lot of heat. It has homing tendencies, just like Leia’s alternate fire, but do less damage, so they are good for sniping or damaging a blocking hero.

 Melee: This is an average melee, albeit one with a weird animation. 

Shock grenade: The ARC throws a sticky grenade that can then be retriggered in order to release a shocking blast that knocks down nearby enemies. The ability slot shows how many enemies will be affected if the weapon is activated. This is useful for getting in range on any enemy with a lot of health. 

Scan: This scan highlights enemies nearby in every direction, and will also show them on your scanner. It is probably the best scanning tool in the game, being active for a long amount of time and having a large AOE. This is useful for helping teammates and avoiding bad situations. 

Gun Shift: This slot swaps weapon function between Close Combat and Mid-Range. It has almost no cooldown, which is useful in a pinch. 

Final Verdict: The ARC Trooper is a top tier unit and probably the most versatile reinforcement in the game. The multiple functionalities of their gun and the abilities that help them get the jump on enemies complement really any kind of fight. And they have awesome skins, to boot. Their one weakness is that they can’t do incredibly well in any one area except for stealth.
