@xProdicateWho hurt you? Bringing some generation stuff into this doesn't make any sense.
Are you talking about the same people older than you that have played many great games that came out before the Battlefront reboot and which were less casual overall than that?
I get why the game was made as it was, it’s pretty obvious, but IMO they went overboard, even for a game meant to please everyone, which is what bf2 is imo.

That said I’ve also met some of the coolest older guys, heck I’m n a discord with them, all awesome guys but also mature guys. If you were on the old forums you would remember the typical groups, you know, all the so called know it all’s.
Most of them I knew were older guys that constantly griped about the gameplay, about lack is health buffs, speeder bikes, the infantry roll that sabers couldn’t hit/lack of skill btw. We went from a fairly balanced game in the beginning to a total unbalanced spam fest.
Same with HvV, the same groups that griped about the old HvV over and over until they got the current version that’s a total mess. It is what it is though, so forgive me for griping myself , I’m no better than the ones I describe, hopefully the next game will be great, even more, hopefully we have a next game.

I see. Btw what platform are you playing on?
Premade teams were definitely an issue on BF2015 as well on PC, so I'm not sure you encountered the same people from clans who took/take this game way too serious and pubstomped servers just as it happened in BFII, alongside other aspects of showing very poor sportsmanship.
I mean congrats, these guys act all cocky because they clinge on destroying the leftover of a dead casual game, with large parts of the other elite players who could be a real competition having moved on since a year ago. Mad respects. The drama and flamefest that was going on in the chat even without those people involved, it was an absolute disgrace and unfortunately happened not only sometimes.
Not even talking about the same cheaters who, after all this time, still have nothing better to do than using hacks in this game.
I hate to say so, but I have only few good memories of the BF2015 community left and it contributed a lot to me not returning to the game on a regular basis.
I can agree that premade teams or squad-stacking should've never been a thing, for both games. No matter on which end of the stick (even as the stack member) I am, it just kills the drive to continue.
At least such things, in BFII, have ceased to some extent as many of the tryhardy clans there have moved on since a long time ago too. We still have emergent clans etc. but those are way less a pain in the rear... yet.
It's an unfortunate pair of Battlefront and DICE implementing their usual stuff they normally use for Battlefield games, like no real matchmaking.
And parts of the communities who delight in abusing such features, of course.
