Re: Star Wars Battlefront 2: player models disappear, weapon does not Fire

Disappearing objects ingame and total lack of control of your character are usually associated with struggling hardware or unstable (or very poor) internet connection. First I'd suggest checking if the Lag message on the top right corner is less then 3 bars, if so that's probably the cause of your issue. This can be because you're playing on wi-fi and the Access Point is too far away for the connection to be reliable. It can also be because somehow your game decided to connect to a far away server. Check in Menu > Options > EA Account > Ping Site and see to which server you're connected, and most importantly, how high your ping is. Pings above 200 start making the game behave erratically. If the lag message instead keeps changing, then this is a sign of unstable connection, which can also be due to wi-fi, but your router may be behaving badly and a restart might do the trick.

If it's not related to the Lag message, then it can be a hardware issue. Your hardware may be getting too hot while playing, or starting to show signs of malfunction. If it's only in this game that weird things like this happen, then it's probably not malfunctioning, but it can still be overheating.

Check if your issue is any of these, and if nothing here solves it, please let us know so we can check if there's anything else you can do to solve it. I hope to have helped.
