This did also happen in the last part of the mission before, but i was able to get through that (although i did wonder why the difficultly spiked). I did manage to get to the next part of the mission a while back and the same thing was happening with the enemies.

The video clip below sums it up but this occurs on other missions too. it happened to me on missions 3-8 where I gave up because the rushing was ruining the campaign

Has this been looked at? Happening exactly the same for me too. Ruins an otherwise enjoyable campaign.

I have the same issue but did find a way around it after countless attempts. Instead of trying to take down the Walker and all the troops I just switched on my shield and made a bee line for the platform where the cloud car is located. You still have to kill a lot of troopers once on the platform but using grenades and moving around a bit enables you to get through the stage. The Walker is just a distraction.

I should add that even after getting past the under empty skies level the same problem gets you right away with Lando in the next level. Watch any walk through and there are reasonable amounts of troopers to kill. In the game at present, even on the easiest level as soon as you get spotted dozens of troopers rush your location. Something has clearly been broken during an earlier update.

Any ETA on a fix yet?  I really want to play the campaign 🙂

Did the new patch fix this?  I want to start the campaign but not until they fix it since there are posts about the dialog triggering earlier etc

Personally gave it a few weeks then deleted the game EA obviously dont care that there is a game breaking issue with the campaign

What’s the latest on this bug. I have the same issue on Under Covered Skies. 

Is there any update on the bug as it was still present when I last tried, I have managed to fight my way through with a bit of luck but there are others still finding the campaign unplayable ?

What is the solution for this? I just started playing and now I am in Covered Skies and get the same way, 2 shots and the entire empire comes down on me. PS4 user

I'm having the same issue and it's getting closer to a year since this issue was brought up to EA after finding this thread. I'd really like to be able to complete the campaign but when you have no chance to it makes it entirely too frustrating.

Yeah, I had relative success a few times drawing them into the building on the left hand side. Unfortunately there will be something that randomly happens you don't account for and it throws the entire attempt off in the end. I figure I will just have to keep trying this method until just the right sequence of events occur. Last time I managed to take them all out, but then random Stormtroopers populate out of nowhere and get cheap shots in and I also realized from reading comments here that the AT-ST isn't required to be taken down so hopefully that will help when things just happen to go right.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Campaign is imposible on special forces difficulty. I've given up on Lando's mission in frustration! I can't believe it's been a year and this still hasn't been addressed even though you've publically stated you're abandoning the game. Don't leave it unfinished like this, come on guys!

@EA_BlueberryWhat is the status of this problem being fixed? It's already been about A YEAR, and worse yet, DICE's support for Battlefront II is winding down! Why haven't we received any updates on this situation, yet? This is unacceptable. Please, what is going on here?

And yet it's still not fixed. Again, in Under Covered Skies, it is impossible to get to the platform because of this as of June 2020 (on base PS4). 

Unfortunately, it's clear they don't care about the campaign or its players. It's a shame, I've decided to give up on the game as it's left a bad taste in my mouth. EA do nothing to even attempt to change their rightfully earned bad reputation for caring about nothing other than systems that bring money in. Very sad.
