Does the same for me. Very frustrating because it causes you to get killed by people you never knew were there. Kinda ruins the whole point of being a specialist.

    I'm not a 100% on this but I think it won't show the signatures of people using stealth skills. Not sure if Vanguard applies, but I do believe Infiltration and the Stealth passive might have this effect.

    The issue makes nobody show up at all. Not a single heat signature shows up when it happens and it makes the binoculars useless half the time.

    This started randomly happening to me too.   Sometimes I would get the heat signature the very first time I used them in and then it would stop for the rest of the match, other times it would start working again mid-match.
