Reach level 70 - now no battle points towards the new veteran milestones

Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug I’ve reaches level 70 with my officer ( max ) but now because it’s capped, am not earning battle points towards the new veteran milestone! This makes achieving this impossible!

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 30/5/2018
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 15.30
In what game mode did the bug occur? Galactic Assault
What is your time zone? GMT (UTC)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Max out a class and then see that no battle points go towards the new milestones
What happens when the bug occurs? No pints towards milestone
What do you expect to see? The points I earn added until I reach the milestone

    I find those milestones particularly annoying, as I'm already very experienced with multiple characters, yet the milestone assumes I have no experience with the characters.

    Seems to me the game code should be taking into account existing character levels for those milestones.

    I don't know if you are experiencing the same thing as me, but there are two things happening.  One screen shows no XP because I am at max level, but when I check progress on the milestones, I am getting points and making progression there.  So if you are NOT seeing progression when you check your milestone progress, then you are experiencing a different bug than some other players.
