This is happening to me too and I cannot figure out why my teammates get highlighted red. I also notice that from time to time when I use the scan dart it won't highlight the enemy players not sure what is going on with the scan ability or bincoular highlight ability that might be messing up.
I've seen this happen too, and it usually goes hand in hand for me with a bug where my scan dart doesn't reveal anything to me. I kind of suspect that something is glitching where the other team shoots a scan dart, then my team sees the reveal instead of their team. I've seen this most frequently on Death Star II, when playing as a stormtrooper assault.
Reminds me of the Battlefield...2 I think, where your team was marked as red, launch a grenade, then get hit for a team kill. Imagine that, another EA game!
I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this problem.
I'd suggest you all guys to click the "Me too" button, in order to highlight this thread to the EA Staff so that they'll pass this issue (among with the countless other ones) to the development team, hoping this will be fixed sooner (I don't believe so) or later.
