I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this problem.
I'd suggest you all guys to click the "Me too" button, in order to highlight this thread to the EA Staff so that they'll pass this issue (among with the countless other ones) to the development team, hoping this will be fixed sooner (I don't believe so) or later.
Yes I find this annoying too, whether it is by design or a bug, the visuals give you the wrong impression!
