REFUND???

Hello. I am having the same issue with trying to get a refund for this game. I tried sending the following email because there is no other way to contact anyone:

Hello. I am writing to follow up on my refund request from 11/11: Origin Refund Request *snip*. I received a couple emails this past week asking if I still needed the refund and there is no way to respond based on the instructions in the email. I've gone around and around on the website trying to figure out how to contact you but it will not allow me to. I do still need the refund as it never let me download the app on my laptop.  I would appreciate it!

Please advise and thank you!

Of course, the reply was that the email couldn't be delivered and to contact EA help/support. When I try that it opens a page saying my case is closed, which I did not authorize, and then it has a place to click and create a new case.  When I do, it closes the screen and doesn't open another one to start another case, or even contact anyone. It's extremely annoying and seems like a scam for them to keep money when the product hasn't been delivered correctly.  Like I mentioned in the email, the app would not download on my laptop which is why I requested the refund in the first place.  If you could please give me a phone number or email so I can resolve this, I would greatly appreciate it.  Every dollar counts, especially this time of year when I'm stretching to afford gifts for my kids.
Thank you for your help in advance and happy holidays!

    Hi @thntwlzjyvc4

We don't have the means to issue refunds or look into billing issues through Answers HQ. You're correct, this would need the support teams help if you've requested a refund directly on the EA Help site and it's not come through. Please check the status of your refund request from your Order History on the order summary page and note down the transaction ID. This information will help speed things up when you reconnect with the support team:

    1. Log in to origin.com
    2. Hover over your EA ID in the bottom left corner, then click EA Account and Billing.
    3. Select the Order History tab.

I'm sorry to hear the EA Help site's been acting up for you though. It might just need some troubleshooting. Could you try the following steps please to see if that helps you with creating a ticket and reaching them:

    • If you are on mobile, switch to PC to submit the ticket or vice versa
    • Clear the browsers cache and cookies, fully close all browser windows and then try again
    • Test it off of a different search engine (so if you're on Google Chrome, try Firefox to see if you can submit a ticket that way)
    •  It's no harm trying a clean boot to see if you see the same issue after either:  https://help.ea.com/en-in/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

If that doesn't help you connect through to support, try reaching out to our EA Help Support staff on Twitter at @EAHelp for assistance with this. Select the message icon to get assistance. They are also on Facebook, you can select the 'send message' option on the accounts home page.
