every single game of HVV is ultimately ruined as soon as one person on dark side chooses greivous as he can just press instant win button to instantly and without any possible counter play get a kill on any class who is either knocked down or has no block. This is a very fair and balanced mechanic that only very skilled players can use, and therefore it is obvious why EA have left it in the game for so many months. I wish that classes like Finn had a button where if you pressed it you could just instantly kill up to 3 players in your sight, or Phasma had an ability that let her instantly kill anyone stood near her as well. Even if you're on their team the game becomes boring and without challenge because you instantly win. So boring and bad.

Sorry, EA and/or DICE feel the game is in a good enough state as-is. I disagree with that, because the game is unbalanced and buggy af, but hey.

@TRlALON Thrust surge is so predictable that it’s a bad ability, it has a wind up that makes it easy to dodge, block or parry it. I guess it’s good against new players but most people will be able to avoid it.

They won't fix it, and they won't killswitch him either.

If they don't want to give the proper respect their customers deserve, I suggest at least doubling the ability's cooldown. It'll still be opressive, but much less frequent then right now. And considering it's already a fast cooldown ability, doubling it won't even make it the ability with the longest cooldown in the Hero roster.
Simple way to reduce the unfairness by a lot. Maybe doable through a server patch even, which seems to be the only thing they've been doing nowadays.

They won’t ever fix him or remove him since support has ended.We just need to counter him the best we can.If your a saber hero I’ve noticed jumping helps and after two jumps the ability ends so just land somewhere high up or jump again as soon as you hit the ground.For blaster heroes I would say just keep your distance since he can only block about 3 shots from a blaster use that against him and use Leias rapid fire or Hans sharpshooter.When he uses claw rush use a ability like Hans grenade,Landos smoke,Reys mind trick etc to either knock him out of it or to dodge the ability.

@PewPewYourePew Grievous has so many counters that he’s not really a threat, every other ability he has is pretty trash as well.

@jmercury6120I doubt that DICE felt like their work was really done and EA just didn't care as it wasn't really possible anymore for them to milk that game. Making up new monetization concepts? Nope, rather throw the game out of the window altogether.
@Bagginses2The thrust surge is pretty decent, isn't it? You can cross a lot of space with it and have an easy game against those pesky rocket troopers.
The only way this isn't effective is when this ability is used against an ultra pro who can dodge it in a HvH game because he's facing Grievous directly.
Oh, and a better internet connection of course.
Just that halfway smart people will not just attack a blaster pro in an obvious and predictable way either.
In greater modes however things are completely different and many hero players you meet have obviously zero HvH experience.
The unrelenting advance is pretty much like Anakins heroic might and phasmas droid... the concept of these stationary abilities alone sounded good to the devs I guess but simply doesn't work against human players. At least not like it was originally intended.
