Don't know why matchmaking was ever put into this mode. At least in my experience, it was perfect without it and needs to be removed.
Had a lot of great matches with the same group of people before since we were all able to stay together. Now that doesn't happen and matches don't feel like they did before. Why was this even changed?
- 5 years ago@mfnfishdog I have no idea why. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a bug.

Agreed. I didn't realize it at first, but yeah you should just stay with the same group and rotate to the next map. That's how it worked originally as I recall. Then if someone leaves, another is matched in. It shouldn't matchmake after every game.
Really the entire matchmaking system needs to go for future DICE games. They need to get back to a server browser with community server rentals like they have in Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4. That's always been a better system for the community. It even circumvents the whole "split community" concept because you can find a server that has the maps you either have downloaded or want to play. Typically, servers running launch maps are the most plentiful in the first place. Then there will be some that run a mix of DLC and launch maps or just DLC maps, etc. 100% proven to be the better way to go.
