Several characters are locked out of play in Heroes vs Villains

Summarize your bug Six heroes are not available for play, states that they are already in play when they are not.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 20:55
In what game mode did the bug occur? Heroes vs. Villains
What is your time zone? EST (IET) - GMT - 5:30
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a heroes vs Villains match
What happens when the bug occurs? 6 characters, on villain side and 5 on heroes side are greyed out, as if locked or being currently played
What do you expect to see? This corrected so that they are available for selection

So when I went to play a match of HvV, I get to the character selection and there were six villains all greyed out. Text stated that they were already in play. But as you can see in the attached screenshot, they aren't. Tried a few times and the same results. Got into hero side and only five were locked out, for the same reasons. A little frustrating as I play HvV a lot and there is currently a timed challenge which requires Boskk, who is one of the locked out characters.

Im bout done playing this *, mess ups all around with charactor selection on top of not many character selection. What about mace windu, shock t etc character that won't be in the newest movies come on EA!!!!!

I have a suggestion to the team, if you could send it forward it would be great: Put indicators of when an event is active in the appropriated screen. Just like the triple XP events message, which appear in the screen that shows your XP gained for the match.
This way we can stop a report like this one to garner so much hate because people have no idea an event which restricts content is taking place. As DICE has more content restricting events then anything else, it's normal that people unaware of the event come here complaining. Especially @DaiJooky , which has done this several times already.
A message in the Character Selection Screen for HvV saying its Elegant Weapons Event is enough to stop a snowball like this one.

Hey everyone,

This was working as intended over the weekend, we had an only lightsaber only weekend so that means that they won't be any blaster Heroes or villains.
