Skins bought with the celebration upgrade are unavailable offline
Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug As of the Battle of Scarif Update, the skins in which I had brought with the celebration update are inaccessible offline. The problem originally started when the skins i bought became purchasable with credits despite being already bought with the celebration upgrade. I restarted the game and the problem was solved online. However, the skins were unavailable to be used when the game was booted up offline.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? SkyWalkerKnight5
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? April-May
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) Daytime
In what game mode did the bug occur? Capital Supremacy
What is your time zone? GMT (UTC)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? If you have bought skins with the celebration update and start the game offline you will find that the skins purchased are inaccessible if you start the game offline. To proper clarify this problem is not game mode specific. And when the game boots up offline the skins are unavailable as if i never purchased them in the first place. I do not appreciate skins that I bought with my money rather than bought with in-game currency being online-only, when they should not be.
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot access the skins in which I bought with the celebration upgrade offline.
What do you expect to see? I hope that the skins in which i purchased can be available to use in the offline modes in the future if i am unable to connect online when booting up the game

- @MONST1R2 Unfortunately, this is by design, and it is mentioned in the fine print that an online connection is required to access the CE content. However, there is a workaround on PlayStation 4 (not sure if it works on Xbox or PC):
From the PlayStation menu, go to Settings->Account Management and select "Sign Out"
Launch Battlefront II, clear the "You are not connected to the EA servers" message, then go to the Collection menu, where you will see the skins are unavailable
Press the PS Button, go to Settings->Account Management, select "Sign In", enter your password, and then press the PS Button to return to the game
You will still be in the Collection menu, so press R3 to login to the EA servers and your credits will appear, as will the option to purchase skins
You may now purchase the skins with credits for offline play. Note that when you purchase a skin, the credits will be removed from your account and the skin will appear to still be locked. Once you go offline again the skin will be available in IA and Arcade Modes.
Credit for this workaround goes to The_Stickman from the old Official Forums. There was another user who did some testing to confirm the workaround, but I do not have their name in my notes, unfortunately. I take no credit for this workaround, other than to confirm that it still works as of the most recent update (I use it myself to buy the CE skins for offline play).
