Star Wars Battlefront 2: Buy -or- Origin Vault? Game Experiences Older Machines

The 'why' of it

This is the second time I'm using my EA/Origin account.

The first time was to buy and play Mass Effect 3.

This, the second time, is to think about how/if to play Star Wars: Battlefront 2

Questions

Buy or Sub

Should i buy SW:BF2 "now" at the current price of $79.99-99?

Should i subscribe to Origin Access for 1 month and (to get 10% off) and then buy? $4.99 + 71.99?

-or-

Should I wait till SW:BF2 arrives in the vault?

Then buy a 1 year sub for Origin Access? $30 + ?

For current Origin Access subscribers:

How long does it take new titles to hit the vault?

Vault titles are free to play, right? You don't 'own' them but as long as your sub is active you can?

Confusing ...

SW:BF2

Is anyone running SW:BF2 on older machines?

I've got a late 2013 Retina Macbook Pro running bootcamp Windows 10.

How's your experience fared in terms of game experience?

Any other bootcamp users?

Other

I'm pretty compelled and invested in both Steam-Valve and Blizzard-Activision's platforms.

The battle.net app continues to balance a need to advertise and update with new features for existing games AND social add-ons that feel useful and compelling.

Steam continues to add the most long term value for buying digital games with creative sales schemes and offerings: it ACTUALLY feels like developers and players hang out in Steam and it shows. Gog holds an interesting niche but for new titles it doesn't hold much sway/interest.

Origin

The ad-hoc half-baked Origin platform *feels* clunky.

It breathes like a piece of software dreamed up by last decades programmers.

It feels similar to Windows 10: too much advertising and a let's throw everything that attitude that feels directionless.

Star Wars

I continue to love new direction Disney has taken the Star Wars property and am compelled to play thru the single player story in SW:BF2: I've heard that the game really captures the feel of a star wars movie and that the tie ins to the new canon timeline are relevant and interesting.
