2020, and still a problem. I own over FORTY PS4 games, and ONLY Battlefront 2 competetive online modes and one other game have controller issues. It's been narrowed down. its ONLY with this game (and another unrelated game, Starlink) and it doesnt matter what controller is used. EVERY controller behaves problematically, ONLY with Battlefront 2 (and an unrelated other game). It's not controller hardware or firmware. It's not the PS4 hardware. Its not the signal. if it were, 38 unaffected games would be affected. THEYRE NOT. It's either compatability problems between the PS4 firmware and EA servers OR the game in storage or else it's something else in the game or the servers we need EA to deal with. Cyberpredators should not be ruled out, as it only happens during competetive play, where cybercriminals have already been observed killing players through walls with no nearby door, or killing while facing the opposite direction and already otherwise occupied in a firefight with somebody else( i wish deaths in competetive games were recorded & reviewed, to weed out cyberpretator saboteurs (bc if theyre altering the game, theyre not legitimate players. Theyre saboteurs and vandals and should be charged accordingly) & report them to their ISP, but thats off topic.) ANYWAY, Whatever this is, it's a shared problem across PC AND PS4. PLEASE fix this, EA! Im bringing multiple people into the EA fold, playing this, across multiple platforms, and youre making me look bad!!
