i just started star wars battlefront 2 trial 30 min ago and i got thrown to desktop with the activation key code on my screen saying that i cannot play untill i enter the code wtf i just started tria...

Yep similar issue for me as well, I played fine for two hours no issues at all.
Game just crashed to desktop and when I tried to restart it, the game asked for an activation code.
I reset Origin and tried loading the game again and it just crashed straight to desktop again.
I'm just verifying the installation but as it's getting late I'll try again tomorrow.
On the plus side, this game is awesome 🙂
Stuck with the same problem.
Played it for about a hour and when I go to relaunch it.... nothing happens.
The Play button turns grey (indicating it will launch the game) and then it will go back to bright orange.
Have you tried logging out of Origin and back in?
Yes I have, I also have reinstalled my Origin launcher.
