If your PC is below minimum requirements we cannot guarantee that it will always work. Your GPU is quite good, but your CPU is simply under-performing and if we introduce any tweaks to the game (usually with updates), it's possible that devices below minimum requirements might have issues with running the game. The argument that you were playing the game before unfortunately is not a good one.

You can always contact our live support to ask if a refund is possible in such situation, but please have our refund policy in mind.

It's also the 3rd time when I have to edit your posts due to too big font size - remember that abusing the formatting options is against our rules. Your posts are also borderline rude. There is no need to use offensive language.

    I'm seeing this too. Ryzen 5 2600 MSI RX580 Gaming X

  • @EA_Ataashi I am seeing this same problem too after the recent updates.
My specs are good enough as I have played more than half the game earlier with no issues.
    2.5-GHz Intel Core i7-4710HQ
    Nvidia GTX 860m 2GB VRAM

I also tried deleting the folder in "Documents" with no success.

Hope I can get a solution to this soon.
    Thank you

Hey @nthacks-dot-com, have you tried updating all drivers and windows?

Also looking at those laptop specifications you are below our minimum requirements with that CPU so keep that in mind.

This answer that the PC is out of spec is a terrible tech support answer when any search on google you can find thousands of posts with the same problem even today after all this time. My PC is a Beast and it wont get past the log in screen as about a couple thousand others from what i have read so far with no answers, just EA excuses blaming the end user.  Come on guys, you know this is a common issue so stop blaming users and own it for once in EA history.

  • DUDE, it DOESNT LAUNCH. Stop repeating your half assed answers please.

  • @EA_Atic i tried to get on the game, but im stuck on the first loading screen. my os is windows 10 and my processor is AMD Ryzen 5 2500U
  • I have tried to fix this problem on my ps4. There used to be a huge thread made of people with this same problem. Its gone from the search engine or unlisted, or maybe just deleted it. Ea support ALWAYS pretends it doesnt exist. If ea support said "were working on it" i would be satisfied. Theres no hope

The argument that he was playing before is a great one. You would not have tweaked the game in a way that a product below minimum standards would be stuck in a loading screen, especially if he/she could play it before, despite what you say about MINOR tweaks supposedly causing the cpu to go from adequeute to being literally unable to render the menu. It's clearly an issue of a different nature, and while it would've been acceptable to admit you didn't have a solution, claiming it is this a hardware limitation is hilariously misleading. I only post on this thread to help insure nobody takes this reply seriously. The poster may have been rude, bit this response will continue to mislead consumers due to being a front page result on a common issue.

I'm closing this thread to stop it being necroed.

If you have any issues with SWBF2 please make a new topic about the issues you are having and what kind of steps you have tried to solve it.
