Steam and Origin friend play

I found out that people playing on Steam would be playing on the same servers as people on Origin cause it's not crossplay (both on PC). But does anyone know how to play with a friend who is just getting the game on Steam but I am on Origin. Cause the friend list on Battlefront II is depending on Origin friends. Or is this even possible? Thanks to anyone who is willing to help me out with this question.

    @ReaperDomini Steam and Origin for the moment don't share fridens list, you would need to add them on Origin.

    I have the same problem. ☹️ My friend wants to buy Battlefront 2015 on Steam, because its only 5 bucks, in Origin its 10 bucks (the Ultimate Edition).

    @EA_Atic Will that work if my friend buys it on Steam and then launch the game on Origin as a non origin game and then invite me in origin?

    @SithDarthPaI SWBF2 still using Origin to connect to the servers so it will be using Origin friends list to play.
