SW:BF 2 won't save settings on game close/startup

My game settings wont save after closing game and then opening it again.I tried running both origin and swbf2 in admin mode and this didnt fix my problem.I disabled both origin and windows defender clouds and still didnt fix it.Currently i am reinstalling the game again.I need help, because its very annoying changing the settings every time i want to play the game.

  • If you choose not to use Windows default settings and enable Windows Controlled Folder Access then you should know it works using a "block everything by default" philosophy. All the games that save stuff in the documents folder, which is a lot of them, then you will most likely see them being blocked.

  • Hey @GRAK15  In the documentmap/star wars battlefront 2. Do you see a settings map there?

  • Well thank you for your reply.I found what was the problem. At first i didn’t see settings in documents folder and this was being caused by windows defenders controlled folder acces. This option in WD wouldnt let the game to make changes and thats why the game couldnt save my options. You should make a post for everyone so new players could see that.A lot of people have this issue.
