SWBF2: Restriction/Cap on Earning Daily Credits Offline
I'd like to better understand why there hasn't been any improvements for the offline modes, as far as implementing a progression system that allows us to (reasonably) earn credits towards unlocking more character skins on the console edition?
My reason for this particular inquiry, is mainly due to the earned credits being restricted and capped at 5,000 max, per every 24 hours of offline mode gameplay.
Like many of us that ONLY play the offline modes, whether it be due to our Internet connection being too weak/slow to play online modes, and/or, a mere personal preference not to...this is a huge deterrence. I state "deterrence", because our (offline) progression towards unlocking the skins we would like to have for our offline use, becomes more of an unnecessary and frustrating grind than it does an actual reward and/or achievement.
Could there possibly be a way that EA/Dice could implement an offline ONLY progression system, as to where our offline credits and unlocked skins do NOT carry over during online mode gameplay? For instance, the option for our Origin profile to differentiate our offline progress from online progress. Or, the availability to disconnect from the live Origin servers while playing offline modes, by possibly implementing a patch that codes the game directly so offline user's can have the accessibility and freedom to earn credits and/or unlockables without restrictions.
For example, the purchased Celebration Edition's DLC content is only usable and accessible for online modes, therefore, offline users are still left with no alternative option other than to grind for 5,000 credits every 24 hours in hopes we can unlock 1 (common-rare) skin per week (given we have that kind of free time). As an offline gamer and fan of this title, i am please asking for a possible solution from EA/Dice to help accommodate their offline community with this topic.
May the force be with us,
KELTIK
*Edited - Corrected daily credit max to 5,000
