The Defender resetting progress

Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
What is your issue related to? Challenges
Which part of it? Persistent
Summarize your bug The Defender challenge keeps resetting its progress. Need a defense win on Fondor to complete, have now done it twice and upon the win shows the challenge as 5/5. Once back out to the main menu the progress resets back to 4/5
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? daexulin
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 11/15/2017
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 10 pm
In what game mode did the bug occur? Starfighter Assault
What is your time zone? EST (IET) - GMT - 5:30
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? complete all 5 defense wins then back out to main menu to have progress reset
What happens when the bug occurs? unable to complete challenge
What do you expect to see? a completed challenge to which I can collect the reward

    Same problem on PS4. Out of curiosity which is the last defence that's not registering? For me it's the First order one in the unknown regions.

    Same for me too. Although mines at 2/5. I completed Unknown Regions defence earlier today and it went to 3/5 but in menus still as 2/5. Since then did the other 2 I needed, Fondor and Ryloth, but still 2/5.

    I finally finished both The Defender and The Aggressor in one playlist. When I went back to claim the rewards, they reset back to 3/5 and 4/5 respectively. The map rotation makes this way too hard to replicate. It can take hours to get the right map, right position and a win.

    It just happened again for The Defender (Kamino defense). I stayed all the way into the next match, quit, then checked my progress and it reset back to 3/5.

    I've completed all of the maps and won them and still am stuck at 3/5 for progress on the challenge.

    Mine is at 4/5, last one is Ryloth. Won it a few times now and still at 4/5, even though end of round screen shows completed but then exiting resets it to 4/5.

    Kamino defense for me as well.  It says I can claim the reward after the match, and then it reverts to 4/5 when I attempt to do so.  On PS4.

    Having same issue on PS4, I have the aggressor completed but I am still 4/5 with defender. I know the map I need to defend and I've won defense on it 3 times. Each time the score screen shows it complete and then when going back to menu its reset to 4/5 again. It's literally the last challenge I need to complete all the multiplayer challenges and I want that reward

    Side note about "The Aggressor" challenge: it let me "claim reward" when it showed 4/5 after I finished the 5th one.

    I finally got this to work - unsure how though. I played Ryloth again, won as the defender, post round screen said challenge done. I stayed on for a couple of games as I was close to 100 kills as a hero ship, got that finished within a few games, and post round it said multiplayer milestone was at 24/26. Exited to main menu and it was there as completed! I wonder if the other challenge completion ensured that one stayed as completed.

    Still a glitch that it cant be done on a proper basis, but that may be a temporary fix. Try completing a different starfighter challenge within the same lobby afterwards.
