it's the last patch they released, it really buggered up the game, though, they won't admit it.

i get shimmering and sparkles on the menu, plus a big grey bar and when i get ingame, a few minutes later the screen will go black with only the hud visible....

Just wanted to leave here that this bug doesn't only happen to you. I've seen multiple reports of this bug over on Reddit. It doesn't happen a lot and after restarting the game it sometimes is gone. Hopefully the next update (tomorrow) will solve this issue

I solved it by disabling dx11 from settings...it boosted my fos back to normal too. I really hope they can fix it.
